Teen content: Chik & Dolly Magazines

Editing Chik magazine was a privilege. The fastest growing magazine in Australia proved there was a hunger for content that didn't patronise its savvy teen readers, that empowered them to grab life and a variety of choices with both hands. I guided the magazine through a relaunch and to its highest ever readership figures, also exploring successful offset publications like posterbooks and sponsored DVDs and music albums. Writing for Dolly as a freelancer after I left Chik was also fun... and felt pretty strange after having them as the much-respected competitor all those years!
